1st Ultrasound!

Yesterday we had our first appt with my OB. It was the typical history, blood draw, urine tests, and a pap--those are way less fun when you're knocked up! Then we got to see our babe on the ultrasound! Amazing--that's the only way to describe it. It was the MOST incredible thing. I fell in love immediately with our busy little alien baby! I don't know what he (yeah, i said he, just a guess) was doing in there but he sure was dancing around! Probably just showing off for the doctor and his parents!


Going in, Dave and my parents were convinced there was two babies playin' in there...but the doctor assured us with the amount of movement we saw, there was only one. She said the other one wouldn't have been able to "hide" very well.

How far along? 10 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: +1lb

Maternity clothes? Still in the Bella Band--getting ready to make the big switch though!

Stretch marks? None that weren't there before lol

Sleep: I'm sleeping great now compared to the last few weeks!

Best moment this week: The ultrasound yesterday for sure!

Movement: Too early to feel it, but there's DEFINITELY a party going on in there!

Food cravings: Tostitos and salsa; apple juice

Gender: Leaning toward boy

Labor Signs: None

Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: Not feeling tired all the time!

What I am looking forward to: My bump to look like I'm pg not like I had too many chips and salsa!

Wisdom: Don't listen to everyone's horror stories about pregnancy and labor!!

Milestones: We know there's a nice strong HB now--OB said chance of m/c at this point is slim to none-although I know it can happen :(

And I know I promised a belly pic--I will have the hubby take it tonight with the digital--the one on my phone won't upload nicely!
